“Hihihihi !!! So this is the most important thing I learned this week – to think, critically/think for yourself. I like the fact that we have some constraints for every assignment – it’s a good guideline, but it seems that it prevents to think out of the box somehow. I did some assignments strictly “by the rules” and even the result did look nice, it just hadn’t much emotion in it (something like “another brick in the wall”). Since then I started to:
•give a bit more time for thinking about the work I had to do (writing down all the ideas, properly organising and brainstorming a lot!);
•try to bend some rules (find a compromise between what I want to do and what is told in the assignment);
•give a few extra shots from a different angle/different lighting when taking a picture, just for the sake of experimenting;
•worry less about the possible reaction of my peers. After all, the most critical judge of your work is probably you;

So, give a green light for your ideas and try everything!”
