It was a beautiful full moon as we made our way down to the rock ledge. And there was our humpy still intact! There’s a fair bit of evidence that aboriginal people lived down around this area – maybe they also built humpies here…
The kids were responsible for lighting and set and very excited. We decided that the stone humpy would be the perfect shelter for some sea creatures – what a surprise to discover that an octopus and lobster had already made themselves at home and we’re playing a game of cards!
The kids really felt they had achieved something and kept telling us how magical the experience felt…so we thought it had been a wonderful exercise!
