Day 6, Saturday

On a Saturday…
Dear all,

From Mali, we travelled to Cairo for a quick look into David Hockney’s world.
From there, we took flight towards the Big Apple (for a second time this week).

Today’s shipment comes from the Museum, in NYC’s Chinatown.
The right time and place to dive into Stefano’s notebook!

A notebook is a collection of ideas, thoughts and emotions to be explored.
It is where all things, people and places encountered on a daily basis are recorded.

What would you put in your own notebook?
Why don’t you share an object (or “thing”) you like with us?

Now, a few nice things from yesterday.

Here’s a cute anecdote from Olive Bridget (@OliveBridget) on Twitter:
“So I tap on my neighbor’s door & ask her to wear a mask & she says concerned, ‘Have you got the date wrong? & I say ‘Who cares?'”

While, here is a cool example of what a digital notebook could be:
Jonas Liepmann creates a Facebook album, showing the process of his homework with Manuela Verduci della Mancia.

Then, Liza Bernstein (@itsthebunk) records her Design 101 experience on a fancy blog.

Btw: the Design 101 Arena is growing everyday! Did you take part in it?

See you soon!

Every day throughout the course, we picked some of our students’ works from the iversity platform and posted them on our Facebook Design 101 Exercises page. Here is our daily selection:
